The story, of course, is untouched, and that’s a good thing. Vito Scaletta’s rise (and fall) in the criminal underworld is one of the best narratives in gaming. His friendship with Joe Barbaro still carries so much weight, and that ending? Still hits hard. The cutscenes got some touch-ups, and for the most part, they look solid—more detailed character models, better lighting, and improved textures all around.
